A Generalized Golden Rule Representative Value for Multiple-Criteria Decision Analysis

نویسندگان

چکیده

Multicriteria decision analysis evaluates multiple conflicting criteria in making, but are typical evaluating options. As the existing ordering operations involved multicriteria making cannot easily be implemented with intervals, we assume that scalar representative values intervals can effectively avoid this issue. To deal interval-valued criteria, propose a generalized golden rule value approach, which involves sigmoid function of backpropagation neural networks to tune parameters. Our approach considers uncertainties and side effects interval variables improve individual values. Based on numerical examples, address effectiveness proposed provide specific application concerning satisfaction.

Decision Rule Extraction for Regularized Multiple Criteria Linear Programming Model

Due to the flexibility of multi-criteria optimization, Regularized Multiple Criteria Linear Programming (RMCLP) has received attention in decision support systems. Numerous theoretical and empirical studies have demonstrated that RMCLP is effective and efficient in classifying large scale data sets. However, a possible limitation of RMCLP is poor interpretability and low comprehensibility for e...

Designing a Generalized Multiple Criteria Decision Support System

Decision support systems are of many kinds depending on the models and techniques employed in them. Multiple criteria decision making techniques constitute an important class of DSS with unique software requirements. This paper stresses the importance of interactive MCDM methods since these facilitate learning through all stages of the decision making process. We first describe some features of...

Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis for Value Based Assessment of New Medical Technologies: A Conceptual Framework

Acknowledgements This is a paper written under the auspices of ADVANCE_HTA, a research project funded by the European Commission's Framework Programme 7 for Research. The paper does not express the views of the European Commission. Abstract Assessing the value of new medical technologies may require new approaches that take into account a more comprehensive set of parameters than the incrementa...

A data model for algorithmic multiple criteria decision analysis

Various software tools implementing Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methods have appeared over the last decades. Although MCDA methods share common features, most of the implementing software have been developed independently from scratch. Majority of the tools have a proprietary storage format and exchanging data among software is cumbersome. Common data exchange standard would be u...

Persia and the Golden Rule

My paper has two parts. First, I talk about the golden rule. After introducing the rule and its global importance, I explain why many scholars dismiss it as a vague proverb that leads to absurdities when we try to formulate it clearly. I defend the golden rule against such objections. Second, I talk about the golden rule in Persia and Islam; I consider Persian sources (Muslim and non-Muslim) an...
